You enter into the living room, furnished with comfortable couches, chairs, coffee table, TV, desk and a fireplace, and original paintings and local handicrafts. There’s a view into the dining table with high-back chairs with chandelier spot-lighting a compote and highlighted by east-facing windows. The completely-furnished kitchen, with its red tiles and handsome chimney over the stove, is a dream for the cook with its new major and minor appliances, such as blender, microwave, coffee maker, hand beater and toaster oven. The ground floor is finished off by a powder room under the stairs.

On the second floor, the master bedroom, with a wall of closets and a king-sized bed, two south-facing windows and a fireplace, is comfortable and charming. Across the hall is a little bedroom with two extra-long individual beds. Off the hall with another closet, there is a bathroom with aqua tile on the sink and in the shower enclosure, shared by both bedrooms.

Up another stairway is the third-floor studio, with a wall of glass doors looking out to the roof terrace. There is another desk and an easel to keep you busy with painting and/or writing. For the occasional over-night guests, there is a double futon and another bathroom, with shower and a stack washer-dryer, exclusively for the tenant’s use. Outside on the roof-terrace there is a table and chairs to relax and enjoy the view of roof-tops and church domes… or to sunbath or play cards …

Everything is in immaculate condition. The maid comes once a week to clean and change linens, and the owners/managers are next door, if you have any questions or problems. There is cable TV in the living room and wireless internet throughout the house for your laptop. And the thoughtful owners have provided you with a local cell phone and a $75 allowance of gas and elec.
