To the right is the dining area with 8 leather chairs and sparkling glass topped table. The living room, with luxuriously comfortable overstuffed sofa and companion chairs looks out onto the interior patio and tinkling fountain. Glass and ceramic sculptures and paintings from the owner’s Northern California gallery decorate the fireplace mantel and the specially built niches around the room.

On the second floor is the master bedroom with king-sized bed and ultra modern bath ensuite, plus lots of closet and storage space.This bedroom has its own private terrace. A hallway takes you to the computer-desk office – where two people can work at once, if needed – as a companion desk is located across the room. The laundry room with washer/dryer is just off the office.

Stairs from the second floor landing take you to a terrace and up to the roofdeck where a covered area with table, chairs and a bar sink await. Panoramic views of the sunset hills, face the cocktail hour visitors – and next to the outdoor sala is a spacious area with 4 chaises and tables and chairs, perfect for lounging and relaxing midst whimsical ceramic animal sculptures. Views of the Parroquia and other San Miguel historic churches dot the skyline.
Located close to the Aurora Art and Antiques Center, Casa Contessa is just a flat and easy 8 to 10 minute walk to the center of town.
