Just a short, flat, easy walk to the Instituto and the colorful Ancha de San Antonio with its myriad shops, art galleries, cafes and restaurants, and then the central El Jardin and La Parroquia beyond - Casa Rico is ideally located for exploring all that San Miguel de Allende has to offer!

Enter this charming 3 bedroom home through the courtyard entrance shaded by the lovely mesquite tree and you are immediately “at home”. Beautiful boveda ceilings, polished brick floors, easy -to –live- with furnishings in the Mexican hacienda style – all combine to make this the perfect setting for a relaxed vacation.

The living room, dining room, kitchen, powder room and king-sized master bedroom suite are all on the first floor –( no steps to climb for guests with limited mobility!) The large living room with fireplace is a favorite gathering place for friends and family. This room overlooks the patio with tinkling fountain and seating for relaxing and al fresco dining. The dining room adjoins the living room with seating for 6 to 8 – and next comes the eat-in kitchen, great for informal meals – totally equipped with everything you need!

Off a hallway to the right is the master bedroom suite, another spacious room with king-sized bed, fireplace, and large master bath with Jacuzzi. The master bedroom also includes a computer desk with wireless internet access and a flat screen TV with all U.S. channels.

On the second floor are two more bedrooms - one twin bedded and one queen sized bedroom, each with their own private bath and closet space galore.

Casa Rico has 3 widely separated private outdoor spaces, on both the first and second floors - just perfect for relaxed conversation groups, kids playing games, al fresco dining – or just plain sitting quietly with a good book. Cocktails on the upper roof terrace, along with sunset watching are favorite pastimes here – where routine cares and the hustle bustle of daily life fade into the tranquility of a back-in-time San Miguel vacation!!
