Casa Contenta is a charming 3 bedroom, 3 -1/2 bath house, built in old world colonial style, with interior courtyard patio, high decorative boveda ceilings and spacious light-filled rooms. Inside are many extras, including a two- desk computer office with internet access. The kitchen is a chef’s delight – stainless steel stove and frig, marble counter tops, a decorative pot rack with a full range pots and pans; cutlery, glassware and dining service for 6 to 8. The high backed stools at the kitchen counter make a wonderful informal breakfast or lunch bar – or space for buffet entertaining. The dining area, between the kitchen and living room, has 6 luxuriously comfortable high-backed leather chairs and a stunning glass topped table.

The central courtyard patio with table and chairs for outdoor dining and a serenely tinkling fountain is directly off the living room – honey colored upholstered sofa and chairs face the fireplace with its unique overhead mantel and collection of folkart. There is a twin-bedded bedroom and bath off the entry hall on the first floor, and under the staircase, a native marble tiled powder room for guests. Two more bedrooms with baths ensuite, including the master bedroom with king sized bed, are on the second floor. Just off the master bedroom is an intimate patio. Rare, interesting and whimsical glass art and ceramic sculptures are placed throughout the house and on the roof terrace. Keeping Casa Contenta sparkling is the gracious housekeeper, Guadalupe, who is also a wonderful cook! She works two days per week, but can be available for more time as needed.

At the top of the house on the roof terrace you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the city and the mountains beyond. Deck furniture for lounging, plus table and chairs and a bar with sink make for easy entertaining. All in all, Casa Contenta, in its private, gated setting, is a house for all seasons, and a house you’ll fall in love with!

Includes utility allowance of up to $50 per week and Maid Service two times per week.
