This lovely architect-designed home with its spacious, high-ceilinged rooms and floor to ceiling windows is furnished with beautifully upholstered traditional furniture that promise complete comfort and relaxation. French doors open off the living room into the courtyard patio with fountain, flowers and chaise lounges, and a sala at one end under a tile covered roof. Furnished with a table and benches, this is a perfect area for dining al fresco, reading or game playing.

Through a bookcase lined passageway you enter the dining room which also faces the charming courtyard patio. Just off the dining room there’s a pass through to the kitchen, stocked with appliances, utensils, china and glassware -- everything needed for intimate dining or entertaining family and friends. The kitchen itself includes a breakfast table and chairs, and overlooks the front entry garden.

Each of Casa Feliz's bedroom suites includes its own bath and closet/dressing area. The king-sized master suite on the ground floor, decorated in pale and deeper blue silk, looks out onto the courtyard patio. On the second floor a queen-sized bedroom has apricot silken swags over the bed, creating a romantic canopy. A third bedroom, has twin beds and is decorated with Mexican artisan’s hand embroidered pillows and matching lampshades. Two terraces are off these second floor bedrooms – one is a covered outdoor sala for reading and relaxing in private – and the other a spacious sunny roof terrace, with informal lounge chairs and dining furniture and a collection of flowering plants, all set within view of the magnificent blue mountains surrounding San Miguel.
