Comfortable couches and sofas around the fireplace in the living room, the dining room, with its dramatic “tree-table” – and, behind an art-covered wall, is the sparkling efficiency kitchen with a view of the courtyard patio, its water wall and flowering orange trees – The artist-owner has accented the house and grounds with her own sculptures and artwork, and those of other well-known San Miguel artists.

On the first floor, facing the courtyard patio, is a totally romantic master bedroom suite with antique four-poster canopy bed and hangings. Reading lights, comfortable chairs and tables complete the suite. On the second level is a queen-sized bedroom with an ingenius “light box” headboard – wall to wall closets, a comfortable bath and shower. Across the hallway is the den-computer room, and from there a few steps take you to the terraces with their magnficient views.
