You enter Casa AnnaMaria off busy Calle Hernandez Macias, and go through the door on your right into the pretty living room of Casita Maria with its cool hexagonal-tile floor, high beamed ceiling, corner fireplace and comfortable Mexican couch and chairs. It is surprising how much the thick antique adobe walls block out the street noise. A small hall (with guest bathroom on the left) leads to the large eat-in kitchen, off of which is a diminutive patio, accessed through French doors. At the top of the living room staircase is the fully tiled bathroom with tub and shower. On your right is the large master bedroom with king-sized bed, sitting area, a wall of closets, fireplace and TV (with cable), as well as a door leading to a wonderful terrace, partly covered. Enjoy the view of roof tops and church domes, a great place to paint or write.

The second bedroom has two twin beds, a window out onto the patio, and a skylight, as well as a fireplace and a wall of closets.

The maid, Chila, comes 2 times a week to clean and tend to the linens. The house manager, Daniel Hernandez, speaks English and is on call, if you should need him. He also gives tours of the surrounding area, or trips to the airports.
