In addition to enjoying the beautifully landscaped swimming pool and sunning and relaxing on the roof terrace at Casa Mejil, you’ll discover panoramic views of the city from almost every room -- beautiful church domes and spires, landmark colonial architecture, ancient trees and gardens in a setting that reaches as far as the eye can see into the distant blue mountains.

Everything you could want for ease of entertaining-- whether indoors at the charming dining room’s round table that seats 8 or more…or out on one of the patios or the roofdeck.

In addition to the cozy fireplace in the living room, flanked by comfortable sofa and chairs, there are hidden alcoves galore for reading, sitting, watching the world go by – and on the lower level – a projection television with movie sized screen, plus a billiard table for all the budding “Minnesota Fats” fans in your party!

The house has a garage with room for 2 cars and the rental includes maid service 3x per week, and the services of a full time gardener/maintenance man who oversees the entire complex.

The house itself is located in the central historic district on the uphill side of the Salida a Queretaro, hence the wonderful views! Yet it’s an easy downhill walk of about 8 to 10 blocks to El Jardin, the central plaza.

Built within a beautifully designed and maintained complex of five houses, Casa Mejil is the perfect house for fun times with friends and family – three spacious bedrooms, each with its own bath and a totally modern kitchen.

$ 2,800 per month, depending on season and number of guests

Utility allowance: $50 per week; $150 per month
