Location: Calzada de la Presa, 5-minute level walk from the indoor market, 8-minute level walk north-east of the central Jardin.

When you enter the door in Villa de la Presa from the cobblestone street, you leave the ordinary and step into the extraordinary! You are almost overwhelmed by the vision of lush greenery from the mature trees and colorful flowers of the garden visible through the arched entryway. A broad double colonnade of mauve arches, upstairs and down, meets your eye, with potted plants and cacti adorning the balustrades. The first floor is replete with entertaining areas, both inside and out. The living room, with lustrous velvet upholstered couches around the fireplace and fine wooden table and chairs gives out onto a dining room fit for entertaining a dozen or more guests at the grand table. Adjacent, there is a kitchen with every appliance, large and small--and the staff to man them--to prepare a gourmet meal. Down the hall, is the master bedroom, with high French doors on either side of the fireplace to the view of outdoor sala and the garden beyond. The bedroom furnishings are fit for the master of the villa: a massive four-poster bed, a desk, a couch and several lounge chairs grouped about the fireplace, and a large, en suite bathroom. Outside, on the lofty portal, are an outdoor sitting area graced with a bar and a table trimmed with flowers… Beyond are a dining table for eight and then two lounge chairs, set to enjoy a view out into the garden and its fountain. All the arches are curtained by heavy drapes in case of some malevolent breezes should occur.

The second floor has its own outdoor sitting area with a view to the Parroquia, famed symbol of San Miguel, framed with flowering bougainvillea. In the large Pink Bedroom, a favorite among guests, is a queen-sized four-poster bed with canopy, a fireplace, a desk, and a comfortable couch… The spacious attached bathroom has an arched, brick boveda ceiling. Across the hall is the large studio living room, with leather furnishings and a Blue-Ray 50” TV… a queen bed is enounced in an alcove.

The covered viewing platform on the third floor has comfortable chairs and couch, a hot tub with glorious view, and several locations for lounging.

The staff--two full-time maid/cooks and a gardener/mozo--work full-time so that your every wish for a worry-free vacation will be answered in Villa de la Presa. Come lead the life of the rich and famous in beauty of San Miguel de Allende!

• 3 spacious bedrooms with large en suite bathrooms: one king-size bedroom on main floor, and on the second floor: one queen-size bedroom with trundle bed, and a large studio room with queen-size bed in alcove and with sofa bed
• Phenomenal indoor and outdoor dining and living rooms for entertaining (with bar), plus 3rd floor hot tub and comfortably furnished sunset-viewing platform. Indoor formal dining table seats up to 14
• Kitchen contains large and small appliances, including dishwasher

• Staff: Two full-time maids (one of whom speaks English), who shop, cook, bake and clean, wash & iron clothes, 5-1/2 days a week (9AM to 4 PM), a full-time gardener/mozo (8AM to 3 or 4 PM), who tends gardens, runs dog and errands. For extra pay, the maids will cook and serve, and the mozo will tend bar, for nighttime parties.
• Music system with speakers throughout the house. Two Blue-ray flat-screened TV, wireless Internet in each floor, two local phones and two Vonage phone for unlimited calls to US and Canada (and 5 European nations). Answering machines on all 4 phones.
